Your account, your call. Two ways to do it.
In the app (fastest)
- Open AffirmMyName and tap the gear icon to open Settings.
- Tap Account, then Delete account.
- Confirm. That is it.
By email
Email support@affirmmyname.com with the subject "Delete my account," from the email address on your account. We will confirm and process it.
What gets deleted
Your account, all profiles under it, names and pronunciations, settings, photos, recordings, streaks, and sent motivations are permanently removed within 30 days. This cannot be undone.
One important step first
Deleting your account does not cancel an active subscription, because billing runs through your app store. Cancel first: on iPhone, Settings then your name then Subscriptions; on Android, Play Store then Payments and subscriptions. Then delete your account.
Family plans
If you are the plan owner, deleting your account ends the plan for all members when the paid period ends. Members keep the free plan and can subscribe on their own.
